My second name, Debra, means Bee in Hebrew.
I've always thought bees are beautiful, magical creatures.
They are the little guys contributing to the food chain and ecosystems on a deep level we can't imagine. They work hard to produce a near-miracle substance we love to have in our kitchens.
But it should be in our cosmetic shelf, too.
Honey and other bee-made products contain a multitude of healing, nourishing elements.
Propolis, pollen and beeswax are hugely beneficial when added into our beauty routines.
Propolis helps in the healing process of burns and wounds, pollen reduces inflammation
and beeswax is anti fungal and moisturizing.
I've been using a few Bee Natural products:
-Bee Natural 100% Pure Natural rich re-hydrating face balm (I use this at night)
-Bee Natural 100% Natural Luxurious Body Butter
and a Simply Bee product
-daily moisturizer for normal/ combination skin (SPF 15)
these products have helped to keep my skin moisturized and healthy and maintain a natural glow.
I believe supporting bee-related products will keep the bee-farming industry alive, which will ensure that there are some people looking after the bees because their livelihoods are dependent on it. We need to know that we are facing a bee crisis, with pesticides killing off bees, urbanization and the worldwide loss of natural lands, bees have less food and decreased access to water (bees need to drink water).
So plant some bee-friendly plants, and always look out for ways you can help these little friends out.
